"The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in pulling down strongholds."
2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV)

As the New Living translation would say it...

"We are human, but we do not wage as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons (prayer being one of them), not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destory false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

As God's child, He has given me (us) the ability to pull down strongholds (as we yeild to His gentle spirit) life has caused in my (our) life/s and the people's lives that surround me (us). He has given me/us authority through the vicotry of His precious Son Jesus. Not a victory that parades itself around with arrogance and beats a person because they mess up... but one that says, "Hey, I know... I know your pain, I know why you did that or why you do this... BUT I have covered it with the ultimate sacrafice." A victory that says, "Drink of the grace which I give you (as a free gift, not one you have to earn), and then ONLY then will you see what it means to know Me, to know Love and to walk in the freedom that comes in knowing Grace.

As you follow this blog... know that through this journey of life I may not know all the answers to it's unjustices but I do know the One who knows why and for me, that is enough... to carry on.

"God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but one of power and of love and of a sound mind or self-decipline." 2 Timothy 1:7
