HEALTHY ATTACHMENT

Building relationships is something we as people need to learn and be comfortable with. If I am not connecting with the children in my classroom on a daily basis I am setting a faulty foundation for learning. Children can learn to their full capacity only when they know that they are cared for and when they trust the person giving the information.

PLAY

Socialization also plays a huge part in how children develop thorough out life. I try to encourage relationships through play daily in our classroom. I strive to teach our children to play with everyone and accept everyone just the way they are everyday. 

LISTEN

As a teacher my mission is to make my children feel valued in what they have to say! Learning to listen, instead of talk at the children is a skill I have had to learn over the years.
